Ideally, you're also a seasoned traveller, and you have the passport stamps to prove it. We want smart road warriors in our offices for the credibility it gives us with our customers-they know when we're talking about real experiences instead of reading them something off a brochure. If your love of travel is genuine, but you've only travelled a bit, we can still talk. Your personality, communication, people, and service skills could sway us. After all, we are a lot of fun to work for, and people like you help keep us that way!

What It's Like…

A travel sales consultant assists a traveller throughout the entire process of planning for and purchasing the components of a trip. A consultant will use his or her knowledge of the destination(s) and products to tailor the best experience possible for a client. That knowledge is acquired from travelling, educationals and training.

To do the job, you'll need high energy, knowledge, creativity, quick-wittedness, communication skills, and people skills. Sometimes you'll need to do four or five things at once, gracefully. You'll be just as helpful to an experienced traveller as to a nervous novice. If you've got the right motivation, if you really care about your customers and about helping them create great travel adventures, the challenges will be fun, and meeting them, a source of pride.
