Kyrenia Castle should definitely be on your list of places to visit during your holiday in North Cyprus. Featuring one of the world’s oldest shipwrecks, the castle dates from the time of the Byzantines and subsequently enlarged and strengthened by the Lusignans and then the Venetians, the castle is now home to many historical artefacts.
Guests at the hotel can take advantage of the complimentary shuttle service to Escape Beach, which departs at 11 am and returns at 5 pm. This sandy beach is located just a 15-minute drive away and is home to a beach bar where you can enjoy refreshing cocktails, take in the stunning sea views, and soak up the Mediterranean sun.
With three restaurants to choose from, including the Rooftop Vista Terrace where breakfast is served, the Arkin Colony Hotel offers something to suit all tastebuds. The Premier Restaurant offers a full a la carte menu, including both Turkish, Cypriot and international cuisine, whereas the Courtyard Piazza offers a more relaxed Ottoman setting in which to enjoy your meal. In the summertime, guests can enjoy both lunch and dinner on the Rooftop Vista Terrace, with it’s fantastic views and sensational sunsets.
