Enjoying stunning surroundings, Club Alda is a charming family-run hotel with a wonderful ambience. The small complex includes cosy traditional bungalows in the grounds complemented by light and airy hotel rooms. The design provides a friendly atmosphere with a degree of privacy for guests.
This family-operated hotel is in the popular coastal area of Lapta, sandwiched between the beautiful Mediterranean Sea and the green Besparmak Mountains. Guests have the best of both worlds, with the bungalows or hotel rooms surrounded by beautiful gardens with fruiting lemon trees and bananas, yet the beach is just 300m away.
This lovely resort has many benefits for those who seek a friendly, more personal place to stay rather than a huge resort complex. You'll find Club Alda offers a comfortable and secure environment where it’s easy to make friends with like-minded guests who prefer this quieter resort option. The atmosphere is one of peaceful harmony, whether you are at the pool or enjoying the onsite dining experience. Staff are friendly and approachable and take time to address each guest by name. It all adds up to a relaxing holiday in North Cyprus and one you will definitely want to repeat!

As well as the peaceful pool area, Club Alda is just 300 metres from the nearest beach. It is easy to walk to in less than 10 minutes and has all the services of the Cabin Beach Club. Those with a car can drive 5 minutes further to the stunningly beautiful Sardunya Bay, which offers scenic boat trips around the coast and casual dining at the beach restaurant. This beautiful bay marks the start of the Lapta Promenade, a purpose-built walkway along the most stunning coastline in Kyrenia. Enjoy the stroll and take in the view which you will definitely want to capture on camera.
Club Alda is within easy reach of Lambousa, an area of rich history and fascinating relics such as the Roman-era fish tanks. These rectangular pools were hand carved out of the rock. You can also visit the remains of the Roman harbour wall and the two historic churches (which are currently not open to the public).
The Lapta Strip is a wonderful place for bars and restaurants, just a 15-minute walk from Club Alda. Enjoy fresh seafood and authentic Cypriot cuisine while dining al-fresco within sight and sound of the sea. Some of our personal favourites are Silver Rocks, The Calamari and The Fly Inn. The Lodge is another popular choice and offers occasional live entertainment while diners enjoy a delicious meal.
Club Alda is a great place to stay with children as it is within easy reach of Lapithos Water Park which has fantastic water slides. The Wild Duck is a relaxed family-friendly restaurant with a small playground and a few small animals to enjoy. Both places are only about 5 minutes' drive away.
If you are relying on public transport for getting around, the local dolmus minibuses stop anywhere on the main road. Just wave your hand and they will pick you up and transport you into Kyrenia town in about 20 minutes.
