The buildings that now line the harbour are mostly restaurants, with outdoor tables and chairs to make the most of the stunning sea views but were once filled with countryside fruits awaiting exportation. The spectacular castle at the east end of the harbour is popular with locals and tourists alike and definitely worth a visit. Within its walls is a 12th century chapel and a shipwreck museum.
Situated within the former Greek Orthodox Arkhangelos Church The Icon Museum provides the perfect opportunity to appreciate both art and history. Take in the fascinating exhibits and icons as you meander around three levels. The museum houses the remains of some of the 70 remaining Byzantine catacombs and even boasts a rooftop restaurant.

The comfy poolside loungers offer breath-taking sea views. Residents can take it easy on the astro-turf terraces just past the pool, whilst listening sound of the breaking waves. Welcome relief from the heat of the day, can be found in a cooling refreshment from the poolside bar.
For a supplement, Bed & breakfast with Half Board is available. The main restaurant serves a buffet-style breakfast. The Anchor restaurant situated on the Dome Pier is a great place for fish dishes and an A la carte lunch and dinner menu are available in The Green Hall. Light snacks and beverages are available at the poolside restaurant during the summer months and the American Bar and Café are open during the whole of the year. The Hotel lounge serves afternoon tea during cocktail hour, accompanied by the sound of the resident pianist.
A regular evening entertainment programme in the form of traditional Tavern nights and live music, is provide, either in the bar or restaurant throughout the majority of the year. There is also a swish casino to experience.
