Located to the north of Famagusta, the resort is a popular beach front choice, due to its Eastern Mediterranean coastal location. Just down the road, is also the ancient Roman ruins of Salamis, once a mighty Roman port and now ideal for a day out exploring ancient gymnasiums, temples - another great attraction for children. Further historical and natural delights await you the more you wander. For those seeking more activity, the “bright lights” of Famagusta town are less than 10 miles away and offer a variety of cafes, bistros, bars and restaurants as well as an opportunity to see Othello’s Tower and Citadel, mentioned in Shakespeare’s play of the same name.
