The family-run Manolya Hotel in the popular area of Lapta, is a great choice for couples seeking doorstep facilities at great value, in a stunning coastal and mountain setting.
The hotel is situated away from the hustle and bustle of Kyrenia, but with enough amenities in its vicinity to keep you entertained as well as enjoy lying back in spacious and comfortable facilities and leaving the rest of the world behind! Their raised seafront terrace with a large pristine pool equipped with comfortable sun loungers and umbrellas, modern decking sunbathing area, and cosy grassed bays around a quaint sea cove, leaves you with just the decision of choosing the perfect spot to hibernate!
From the moment you arrive, every minute of your stay is easy to relish. The Manolya is traditional hospitality combined with sensational sea and mountain views in a peaceful environment, amongst the sounds of the waves and the fresh salty sea breeze in the baking sun.
Cyprus Paradise Experts Recommend
The Manolya Hotel is perfectly set between the sparkling Mediterranean and the five-finger mountains of Kyrenia, in a quaint popular village called Lapta. Situated right on the Lapta ‘Seaside walk’, the Manolya Hotel is offered lots of different types of restaurants all within walking distance and right on the coast. Fly Inn, Calamari, and Ezic restaurants are our most recommended local choices.
There is also the coastal walk, a 1.5 km promenade that runs right along the beautiful coast starting near the Sempati Hotel and finishing at Sardunya Beach, a beautiful golden sandy bay with a small restaurant and shower and toilet facilities. It provides a welcome opportunity for walkers, runners, cyclist, and those who want to experience some of the best sea views on the island. On the way to the coastal walk, you will pass The Wild Duck (great for lunch) and Silver Rocks (perfect for dinner), both come highly recommended.
Kyrenia is around a 20-minute bus ride away and the historical harbour and famous Kyrenia Castle are the easiest sites to be seen. Close to Kyrenia, the traditional village of Bellapais is also a popular site in the mountains to experience. The ideal place to relax and have a coffee, whilst taking in the sensational views and its fascinating history.

Dive into the blue!
The Manolya Hotel does not have a beach; however, there is a concrete jetty to one side, with steps down into the clear waters of the Mediterranean, for those who wish to swim in the sea. Being a perfect spot for snorkelling and fishing, the equipment can easily be hired. There is also a diving school located here during the summer months.

Their brand-new, pristine swimming pool is in a stunning spot looking over the Mediterranean Sea. It rests beautifully on a wide raised terrace offering guests sensational views whilst they swim. There is also a lovely separate children’s section at the end of the pool. Additionally, a pool bar serves up a tantalizing array of beverages, crafting the perfect setting for relaxation and enjoyment.

The hotel has an attractive restaurant with large landscape windows looking over the sea. Its spacious indoor and outdoor areas allow guests to enjoy a relaxed, coastal dining experience, consisting of excellent Cypriot and international cuisine, as well as vegetarian varieties. The Hotel has an American Bar on the terrace offering a full selection of popular drinks and liqueurs. Breakfast is served in the main hotel building as an open buffet. Those on half-board have open buffet meze and a choice of main courses from a set menu for their evening meal.
